Purpose: The purpose of Motlow Creek Counseling Ministry is to provide affordable, Christ-centered, professional counseling services. Counseling can help individuals to understand themselves and others better, learn to approach life problems from a healthy identity and recognize the importance of having a personal, growing relationship with Jesus Christ. The desire of this ministry is to help others find God’s promises, purpose and power for their lives.
Confidentiality: Services are provided in an environment in which client confidentiality is highly valued and strictly maintained. It is this ministry’s goal to provide a setting in which individuals can honestly discuss problems, share feelings and work toward healthy, Christ- centered resolutions.
Services Include: Individual, family, marital and pre-marital counseling are offered. Counseling can help address issues that affect daily living including anxiety, depression, anger, stress, loss/grief and broken relationships. Counseling can help to develop healthy coping, decision-making, and relationship skills that foster positive change and personal growth. Family counseling can help build stronger, healthier family relationships.
Costs: The desire of this ministry is to provide professional counseling services at affordable costs. Fees for counseling will be discussed during the first scheduled session.

Rhonda Loftis, M.Ed., LPCI
Rhonda Loftis received her Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Psychology from Gardner-Webb University in 1997. She received her Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree, with an emphasis in Community Agency Counseling, from Clemson University in 2001. She is a licensed professional counselor intern (LPCI) in South Carolina and has over nine years counseling experience working with adults, families, children and adolescents addressing issues related to: victimization by abuse (physical, mental/emotional and sexual), healthy relationship development, anxiety, depression, stress, grief and loss and marital/family concerns. She receives regular licensure supervision by a licensed professional counselor supervisor.
Rhonda, her husband, and four children are active members of Motlow Creek Baptist Church. She has a strong desire to use the gift of counsel to help others find hope and healing through the love and power of Jesus Christ.
