Mission Statement: To lead others to the very Throne of God; worshipping Him in
spirit and truth; teaching and admonishing one another with psalms, hymns, and
spiritual songs; and by living a lifestyle of commitment and joy in serving God both
inside and outside the church.

At Motlow Creek Baptist Church, we believe that worship is a verb, not a noun.
Worship is not only what we say or sing but something we do! It is about our hearts,
and our relationship with God.

The Celebration Choir leads the church in worship each Sunday morning and does
special gospel presentations at different times in the year. The only prerequisite for
joining the celebration choir is that you have accepted Christ as your personal
Savior, you must live a lifestyle of worship throughout the week, and be faithful to
the ministry.

The Motlow Singers is our Southern Gospel “Quartet.” Even though they generally
have more than four people in the group. The singings occasionally lead in worship
and also present the gospel at special events around the Spartanburg area.
Membership is by invitation only.

The Media Team is responsible for all of the audio and visual needs of the church.
They operate the sound system for all services, prepare visual aids when needed,
and operate cameras when needed. We also need people to assist us in this area!
